Molly’s Poetry

A Windmill Whisper

I picture myself
walking through a field of red tulips
under a blue sky.
Windmills whisper in the air.
I feel completely happy
when I am with my friends and family
enjoying the outside.
The sun is on my back
as I pick fresh tulips from the ground

Purple

Lavender flowers blooming outside.
Ducks honking in the pond.
Birds singing in the treetops.
Squirrels chattering outside together.
Fresh cut green grass and lemonade.
The warm sun on my body.
I feel happy, joyful and calm
when I think of my favorite color
purple

Nature Dreaming

I hear the sound of water going down the stream.
Relaxing, calming, peaceful.
The joyful sounds of nature make me want to dance.
Falling leaves remind me of Chinese lanterns
Floating in the air.
I smell cherry blossom trees
It feels like a fantasy.

Opening Up the World

I am thankful to be a Noorthoek student
where I can feel proud
of my unique gifts and talents.
My teacher Kaitlin, opens up the world
showing us new things.
Spreading joy and laughter
at GRCC.

Hawaiian Shore

Laying out on the beach
in Hawaii.
The purple and orange hues
of the sunset move me
to walk the shore.
I hear the wind blowing and
kids laughing.
I imagine surfing the waves,
riding high,
the breeze blowing through my hair.
I am joyful,
thankful for this moment.
