Alexsandra’s Poetry
Where the World Breathes
A rainbow of tulips
blowing in the breeze.
A powerful waterfall
with people swimming
in the crystal clear water.
A light blue sky with puffy white clouds
and a bright yellow sun is overhead.
Birds are chirping.
Squirrels run from tree to tree
searching for acorns
to feed their family.
The sweet perfume of tulips
surrounds me
as I lay my head down
on a soft pillow of flowers.
A Peaceful Beginning
Sitting in the grass
feels peaceful.
The wind blows my hair
back and forth.
Birds squawk at each other
while they fly in a group.
My mind is quiet
as I start my day.
Beauty of Brown
Eve sits in a patio chair
gazing at the bright yellow sun
in the sky.
Her brown fur as soft
as a blanket on my bed.
I hear Robins squawking
at each other as they fly through the air.
The scent of freshly cut grass
fills my nose.
Brown tastes like dark chocolate
melting in my mouth.
It reminds me of jumping into a mud puddle
during a 5K run.
