Elizabeth’s Bio
Elizabeth has been a Noorthoek Academy student for 12.5 years. She loves that she gets to learn new material every semester. Elizabeth likes playing video games and is a fan of the Japanese artform called anime. She hopes to visit Japan one day. Elizabeth is a talented artist and especially enjoys drawing sketches of her dream bedroom. She volunteers with a local emergency disaster response organization. Elizabeth enjoys scientific theories and her dream is to see people living on Mars.

Perfect Day
Feeling the warm breeze on my face,
I drink my soda and eat some snacks.
Waiting for the fish to bite,
I listen to some music,
while my fishing boat
lazily rocks back and forth.
The day slowly passes and
I catch some good fish.
As the Hawaiian sun begins to set,
I start heading into port.
Thoughts of a good meal and
a soft bed floating in my head.
The Escape
I was in a world of darkness
dreaming of the sun
and it’s warmth.
As time passed, I pushed
through the darkness.
Now I can see the light and
feel its warmth.
I am free.
